What We Do
Parker Engineering provides a comprehensive range of Industrial Rebuilding, Machining, and Surface Treatment Services. From a single worn Shaft to a complete Pump Overhaul, we have the Equipment, Expertise, and Processes to restore your Components to full Service — often better than new.
Restore worn Components to OEM Specs — or better.
Parker Engineering specializes in the complete Rebuilding and Repair of Industrial Components. Whether a Part has suffered Wear, Corrosion, Impact Damage, or Fatigue, our Team restores it to full operational condition. We work to original Equipment Manufacturer Specifications or improve upon them using modern Materials and Techniques.
Precision Cuts. Tight Tolerances. Every Time.
Our Machine Shop is equipped for both Manual and CNC Machining, handling everything from one-off custom Parts to Production Runs. We fabricate Components from raw Stock or modify existing Parts to meet new Specifications. Complex Geometries, unusual Materials, and demanding Tolerances are our specialty.
Cylindrical Precision — inside and out.
Outer Diameter and Inner Diameter Grinding delivers the tight Tolerances and fine Surface Finishes required for rotating and sliding Components. We grind Shafts, Sleeves, Bores, and Journals to exacting Specifications, ensuring proper Fit and long Service Life in demanding Applications.
Structural Strength. Precision Joins.
Our certified Welders handle a wide range of Welding Processes for both Structural Repair and Precision Buildup Work. From heavy Structural Fabrication to delicate TIG Work on thin-wall Components, we select the right Process and Filler Material for each Application.
Unmatched Hardness. Superior Wear Resistance.
Hard Chrome Plating deposits a dense, extremely hard Chromium Layer onto Metal Surfaces, dramatically extending Service Life in high-wear and corrosive Environments. It is the Industry Standard for Hydraulic Rods, Pump Shafts, and any Component requiring a combination of Hardness, low Friction, and Corrosion Resistance.
Protect high-wear Surfaces with tough Overlay Alloys.
Hard Facing applies Wear-Resistant Alloy Overlays to Surfaces subject to Abrasion, Erosion, or Impact. It is an economical way to extend the Life of new Components or restore worn ones, using Materials selected to match the specific Wear Mechanism in your Application.
High-Velocity Performance for extreme Environments.
High Velocity Oxy-Fuel (HVOF) Thermal Spray produces dense, tightly bonded Coatings with very low Porosity and high Hardness. It is the preferred alternative to Hard Chrome in many Applications, offering superior Wear and Corrosion Resistance while meeting modern Environmental Standards.
Chemical Resistance. Dimensional Restoration.
Electroless and Electrolytic Nickel Plating provides excellent Corrosion Resistance, uniform Deposit Thickness, and good Hardness. Electroless Nickel is especially valued for its ability to coat complex Geometries uniformly, making it ideal for internal Bores and intricate Parts.
Ceramic and Metallic Coatings for extreme Conditions.
Plasma Spraying uses a high-temperature Plasma Arc to melt and propel Coating Materials onto a Substrate, enabling the application of Ceramics, Cermets, and Specialty Metals that cannot be deposited by other means. It is used for Thermal Barriers, Electrical Insulation, and extreme Wear Applications.
Rebuilt to Spec. Fabricated New. Ready for Service.
Parker Engineering offers complete Rebuilding and new Fabrication of Control Valve Trims for industrial applications. Whether your existing Trim is worn, eroded, or damaged — or you need a new Trim fabricated to specification — our Machine Shop has the precision equipment and experience to deliver components that meet or exceed OEM standards. We work with all major valve types including CCI, Fisher, Masoneilan, Flowserve, and more.
